People: myself and shamoo
Duration: 3 hours saturday evening, 3 1/2 hours sunday morning
Tide: high 7am
Weather: humid dry except for saturday night a few showers
Bait: taz devils
Rigs:-
Results: 1 shad sat evening, 7 sun morning
Report: after missing out 2 days thurs and fri for one reason or another got down to st.mullin eventually
to be honest we expected more people there - were convinced we missed the run
but started spinning anyway - plenty of fish jumping before high water
after few casts shamoo had a brown trout - spirits lifted we kept at it and mark was first into a shad - he was using blue - he then had 2 more on pink and green i think???
i stuck to grey/silver as im awful lazy and as things looked bleak i eventually got one after 2.5 hours
stayed another hour moving along the bank and eventually headed to the bar with darkness
up at 6.30 on sunday morning and the fish were far more frequent - mark had 10 and i had 7 - they seemed to prefer the green/pink combo for me
met a good few heads off the site there also - all the anglers we met were sound and very chatty
great spot to go and try - in a picturesque location - will definitely be back

Good work lads, I'm glad to hear that the fishing picked up on the Sunday morning as it did seem to be very quite on Saturday evening with not too many being caught. It was good to meet yourself and Shamoo as well, always good to meet some heads off the site and put a face to the name.
