i was at a bit of a loose end today was to go boat fishing did not work out .so i decide to go to wicklow harbour first off i dont shore fish at all i had 2 10 ft rods with my 10 year old shimanos 3000gx .had some macs from waterford frozen and some rag made up a few 2 hook setupsnot sure what there called but the worked . after 20 mins i had a doggie not so bad did not blank i was not casting that far 70 to 90 yards had a few pin whiting then the crabs started so i recasted another direction had a few more doggies and 2 more pin whiting the wind picked up and started so i packed up as it was my first day on the shore dont think i did to bad

thanks lads it would be something to do when you cant get out in the boat maybe someone will bring me out for a evenings fishing to show me the ropes in return i will bring them for a days boat fishing

I would be happy to take you up on your offer, let me know when you plan to get out on the shore again and i should be able to meet up with you.I fish mainly the south wicklow , north wexford areas if this suits.
