Hi all,
Would anybody have any contacts to lay moorings in Cork?

Cheers Andrew.

As far as I know you have to have a foreshore licence now if you want to put down a mooring. There is a guy in the Union Hall area that does all the south and west coasts. Can't remember his name but if you call the harbour masters office in Union Hall the Harbour Master knows who this guy is.

Thanks Slowarm.

I have that all sorted. Just lookin for someone to put them down for me. Not sure if i want to chance putting them down myself.

I wouldn't be sure if the boat would be still there the following day, not to mention after a storm.

If it's in Cork Harbour itself your best bet is Ciaran Monks he works for the Port of Cork skippering the pilot boat he will lay it and then dive on it to check it has been layed upright etc. I can PM you his number if you need it!

Ciaran is your safest bet as the P.O.C wont haul one he puts down because he'll put it where it's supposed to go and move it a little after if required some guys will drop it on top of someone else's or you will be clattering off the boats next to you

You have a PM with his number,
