#1 Post by SKIP »

People:myself,my bro and couple of mates

Duration:sat 4.30pm to sun 11.30am

Tide:dropping,rising,dropping

Weather:good surf with sw winds and spitting rain

Bait:peeler,lug,rag,mackeral,

Rigs:pulley pennels,flappers

Results: 10 bass, smoothy pups, tope pups, lsd, whiting, flounders and weavers

Report: fishing was non stop through out the the day and night with near enough all fish taken on peeler or peeler/rag combos. When we arrived their were 3 seals hanging around to the left of us but that didnt seem to deter the fish as it was constent from the start. The bass ranged in size from 2lb to 7lb and were all returned bar one which was deeply hookedImaged

Great session. Wicklow/Wexford is fishing really good at the moment. Always nice to see a decent Bass in the daylight.

Excellent session - well done on the variety and for sticking at it for so long - although once you are catching fish it is hard to stop :P :P
