#1 Post by cortaz »

People:with others at times

Duration: 7/8, 1/3 hour outings :)

Tide: most eather side lw.

Weather: mostly pretty doog fishin conditions

Bait: gowlies

Rigs: running ledgers with 4/0s

Results: few bass up to about 8lb.

out pot-holeing most times with crab, got about 5 over 6lb. an bout 10/12 others, blanked twice  got fish of 6lb,ish each time, went off tis evein as there was a good sun/moon combination around 8.45 (ie. sunset and M.T.) lobed a bait 3/4 yards onto a sandy patch between 2 boulders, few mins later slack line 8) had to skull em outa the kelp, looked near 8lb. nothing else here so moved 100 yards to the next suitable patch got 2 here, then as the light faded decied to chance a cast out to a patch of ruff ground knowin i would get a fish or lose the trace, got a lovely take an hooked into a fine fish that got fouled up in the rocks then the line went  , thats 3 slegders i,ve lost this wk.

Very impresive fishing, Art. We met month or so ago in Clonea. I was fishing with my cousin. You gave me tip about diging lug. Next time i went, I dug about hundred of them in an hour. Reading your predictable fishing theory, helped me to cach my first bass few weeks ago :D. I'm trying to cach one on plugs. Is it a bit too early yet?
