Report:After all the slagging mick has taken here locally the time came to for him to catch his first thornback, so we headed up to this mark which had produced for me in the past so the pressure really was onme as I hoped the channel would produce for us
, especially since he took me out recently to catch my first sea bass 
. we arrived and set up with no-one else fishing so we got to pick our spot, about an hour in with nothing to show a local walker got chatting to us and told how a carload had fished it from early in the morning for about 4 hours and blanked so that didn't bode well
. Needless to say I did allow 
mick to catch the first thornback of 7lb, and the secound at just over 4 lb. It was well over an hour 
before I landed two on the trot, about 7 & 5.5 lb, so just to prove some sort of point mick then landed another smallerthornback 
. All in all a great session, no doggies or weed .
