Bait:lug rag Swan
Rigs:lots
Results:5 bass, corkwing wrase, pouting, whiting, dead swan, and a snapped rod
Me n my mate met boycie n phill down at the local for a few minis they were sittin in the van eating burgers asking themselves was the swan that was floating in the water dead or alive i went down and picked it out of the water it was still moving but by the time i got it back up the rocks it was dead!!anyway fished with the lads for a while got my corkwing wrase and pouting and left to try a spot in wicklow fishing was slow but we managed 3 schoolies a 24cm bass and a 30cm bass few whiting..i snapped my rod but i dont want to talk about that

pity about the rod. do you know you could get 6 months for killing a swan after all he died in your hands

have you not got any warranty with it?? surely a rod that expensive shouldnt snap too easily. might be worth bringing it back to the shop??

Im sure there must be some warranty for it!! im gona find out over the week still shouldn't of happened!!

Boycie had nothing to do with the rod braking but i do think they were feeding the swans bits of there 1/4 pounders that led to its death....

any rod costing anywhere near that should def be covered if ya break it, was it your fault?

No wasn't my fault only lobbing it out..its only 6 weeks old so its not old il have a look into the house insurance if the lads cant sort it out but i say they will they always take care of me down there!

Went down with the rod today got laughed at for snapping it but they said it will be no problem the new section will take a week to get in covered under warranty that's service for ya!!
