Shock leader knot?
Hi all, Im looking for a knot that is suitable for tying shock leader to mono. I was also wondering how much leader is enough to put on? cheers

good strong leader knot, hard to tie on a beach at night

i use the albright knot. never failed me yet.

The uni knot MC showed is your best bet, bimini is a great knot but takes a lot of practice.When putting leader onto reel put 5 turns of the leader onto the reel then the length of the rod and finaly the length of drop you use

I always use slim beuty knot. It's quite easy to tie and never failed me yet. If you go to you-tube and search for it, there are few lads showing how to tie it.
