Report:hi there-i m new on this forum but i found it intrested and w'd like join to the craic :D maybe some intoduction on the begin. i live in The Garden County and my favourite fishin method is the spinning. I used to fish that in freswaters mainly for pike and perch, but last year tried in the sea and....get hooked  get hooked for thorn fish mean sea bass  After that i cant wait when the current season will start :) And show began! began last week. Sunday 19th was best-I had 6 bits and got 4 fish-biggest 4,5 lbs-mon and tue brought me 3 bits and 2 sea bass. all fish were taken on lures after dusk  5 of them were relased and waitin for next meet

B'cause I don't need to carry heavy ground fishing gear, I carry my camera instead. Most of cameras has the self timers-if U set it for 10sec-takin pic for u self is very easy :)

I never tried ground fishin for bass but plannin this year :D For lure fishin luck is not enough-most important are the water clarity and the tides-loads useful info about it U can find on Jimy Hendriks web's

Tight lines is true-but I prefer spiderwires or dyneema fibres wires-U got low diameter and big strenght, and protection for sharp rocks edges
