Help with Mariner age and parts.

#1 Post by Big Dave »

Hi all,

I'm looking for some help aging a Mariner engine i recently bought its 40 M (40hp) with serial number 6E9 S 019693.

The second question is where can i get parts? Ive had it serviced and am looking to hook up the remote cables the only problem is I'm missing
1. the bracket that accommodates the two cables on the side of the engine.
2. the steering arm? which connects the engine to Morse cable.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

You should get your serial no/year info here

On the other bits I'd say head for your local dealer/boatyard.
