good to see you didn't loose your humour
might drop you a line over the weekend, would be nice to wet a line near Spiddal or so, my missus has visitors over from Austria, with 2 small kids
and I'm a bit concerned about my sanity
if I have to stay in with them for the entire time

Whoa, he is a big lad.
I'd be fairly familiar with the run of the mill edible crab, but which parts of the spider crab can you eat, it it just the claws and legs (sure I heard this somewhere), or can you eat the lot.

The Rock Crab - also known as "spider crab", (Cancer quanbumi) because of its spindly legs make it resemble a spider, is found living among rocks and in deep water. "Snow crab," (Chionoecetes opilio) "tanner," and "queen crab" are also known as spider crabs.
