Excellent site. Just looked in as I'm travelling down to Kerry with a couple of mates for a weeks fishing. Seems I'll get plenty of info here. Any advice will be eagerly appreciated.

give me an idea of what you are looking to catch and where and I will try to get some up to the minute info on how it is fishing.

Thanks for the welcome. We are travelling over on 31/08/05 and staying in Tralee, planning to fish around the Dingle Peninsular area. Hoping to try a bit of allsorts. Bass, Pollock, Wrasse which we get a bit of here or over in Scotland but also looking at Rays, Huss and Conger.

New Hartley is just off the coast near Whitley Bay in NE England. From the shore here our only real chance of a double figure fish is cod and they are less frequent now so hope to get some good sport. Look forward to hopefully some good bass action. Odd better fish up here but we mainly see undersize schoolies.

Will there be a chance of Tope at that time of year or is it too late?,
