People: 2

Duration: 4.5 hours

Tide: 2hrs before, 2.5 after

Weather: calm, mild, very dull with poor visibility

Bait: ragworm, spinning

Rigs: 3 hook flapper, spinners

Results: a total of 7 speices which included - 1 2lb pollock with 5 smaller, 1 1lb plaice, 1 3/4lb dab, 1 1lb 4oz flounder, 1 ballan wrasse 3lb 7oz along with 6 other smaller ones, 1 red gurnard quite small and 1 doggie.

Report: me and my friend fished from 10.30am to 3pm. as soon as the rods touched the water constant action. it was a simple 60 to 80 yard cast which just clears the weed which runs from the shoreline out, beyond this its all sand. first cast with a spinner produced the 2lb pollock. was actually looking for some plaice in the 2lb plus bracket but we were delighted with such a variance in species. very pleasent days fishing and my first in a long while!! but im back now to report in regulary on any expeditions im on!!!!! cheers mag
