Wexford Bass and Flounder

#1 Post by uvox »

Tide: Turning, Falling
Weather: Rain,rain, rain
Bait: Lug and rag
Results: 2 X bass, 3 X flounder, 1 X life belt

Another dull, pissy evening on the east coast. Stuck it out though totally soaked through the skin. Combination of rain and sand sticking to your clothes does my head in.

Result: 1 schoolie bass, 1 X 32 cm bass, 3 small flounder. Also managed to retrieve a bright orange life belt from the sea which I will return to the county council. Nice people who think it's fun to chuck these things around, huh.

Nice result there. Know what you mean about the weather. Miserable. Hope the catch made up for it.

well done man :P it always feels worth while sticking out the miserable weather so long as you get a few fish :D

right, sometimes you need to go that extra mile, and that extra change of clothes, for fish....

neoprene waders are a total wet sand magnet though, aren't they...
