lost the run of myself today - meant to be fishing in skerries tomorrow lunchtime with a novice
said id get bait - wont have a chance to dig etc.
presume all shops closed today - is there a place for worm baits near skerries i could call into tomorrow?

The only bait shop near skerries is the arrow hardware in stevenstown,balbriggan.they only stock frozen bait,no worm,but if you do find time to dig/collect i know a couple of lovely black lug beds close by.

i was thinking of that arrow place in balbriggan in the morning - glad you told me theyve no worm bait now
what about that hardware place in swords - do they do worm baits?
bar that ill have to try rorys going through town in the morning
i have mack and squid alright - just wanted some worm

minty - it was only my first time trying up there
had heard plenty of bad reports - and im afraid i can only add to that - 5 hours and not a sniff - not even crabs
no surf - really bright day - was directly west of the pier on the other side where there is a few rocky outcrops aswell as shingle - but didnt hold anything
i now have a scout on recon up there now - so will let you know

Sorry corbyeire,thought you had skerries sussed man.you should`ve asked as i fish up n`down that way alot and would`ve gladly helped.you chose probably the worst spot imho,1 mile nth or sth would`ve been 100 times better.
