Tide: incoming HW c 9 pm 3.7 m
Weather: calm, occasional shower
Bait: black lug, sandeel, crab (sh**e, not the right kind, will have words...)
Rigs: two and three hooks flappers and clipped downs, others feathering etc.
Results: myself 2 dogs
Report: nice to get out, two dogs, second very big close to specimen and that was the highlight of the evening. Not a sniff of anything else, not even coalfish with the dusk...
Still beats sitting in front of the telly! new Vega 4.5 metre Expert Surf is the business, very light and very sensitive, casts light leads some distance even on a FS set up, beautiful kit, will look to get it into IA as its very reasonably priced...
