People:me eric and the keith murphy quartet

Duration:9 till 1.30

Tide:rising hw @12.30 ish

Weather:grand

Bait:fresh lug rag crab and frozen razor

Rigs:lots

Results:me one flounder eric a few flounder not sure about the murphy bros defo some flounder




Report:what with it being good friday myself and eric decided to head somewhere totaly different after diggin some monster lug on the southside we headed northside for monster rag ,job done and with time to spare we filled our bellies with breakfast rolls and tea :mrgreen: after a short drive at lightspeed up the m1 we arrived at the mark full of hope :oops: bad mistake things where looking bad till just before hw when we managed a few flounder the murphy clan arrived (a bit late) and they hooked some flounder also myself and eric packed up at 1.30 as bites had dried up altogether :cry: not sure how long the lads stayed after sure keith will fill us in :mrgreen:
Dennis didnt come with us as planned :roll: lookes like that bang on the head knocked some sense into him :lol: :lol:

well done on getting a fish roger, it can be slim pickins up there. where did you fish?? port oriel in clogherhead always produces some fish for us and there are some nice rock marks over the back of the toilets in the harbour. but other than that it can be hard going :cry: :cry:

:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: no probs man. i've always thought it a bit odd that you never see too many reports from out that way. i always reckoned it either fishes really well so it's kept quiet or it fishes pretty poorly, so no one bothers :lol: :lol: :lol:

Lovely fish if your rod was not in the photo you would find it hard to notice him great camoulflage.

few flounders is ok for daylight and sunshine you wouldnt expect much more ,anything else would be a bonus :wink:

I recognize that bit of beach, no berties around up there yet then :?:

Did you and eric get nose bleeds when you passed the m50 going north :lol:
