Budget day session,achill area 7-4-09

Duration:too long!

Tide:high 5.10

Weather:horrible!!!!!

Bait:squid mack sandeel

Rigs:all kinds

Results:jason 1 doggie,me and john blank




Report:got a call from jason this morning was i able to go fishing?stupid question!!! :roll: we decided on the achill area and a mate,john decided to join us,he had not been out for a while and was looking foward to the session.Got to the mark to be greeted by a howling head on gale with driving rain :evil: We set up two rods each,one scratching at middle distance and one at distance,now when i say distance i mean about 60yds :oops: :oops: the wind was a bitch!!!!Jason got a doggie with his second cast close in, which tried to bite his arm off when we took the pic :D :D That was it,we tried every thing,every rig, every bait,nothing worked :evil: All i dicovered was that my "rain gear"was not as waterproof as i thought!! so after four hours and a thorogh drenching we packed it in.Never was i so happy to be going home,i was frozen to the bone :evil: :evil: hope the budget was good to me,but i wont hold my breath!! :D

Brave men for going out in that yesterday was very wild down this way... Well done Jason for pulling one outta the bag :) unlucky Noel and John....

Was the same on east coast on tuesday, a club comp i was in was called off after 45 mins as surf was running all the way up the beach, forcing us back onto the rocks at the end of the beach.
