Hi.
Nice fishing. It's good to hear you can fish and spend quality time with your family at the same time, I like it.
I'm also a bit envious that you caught so many bass - not to mention that big one your son is holding!

Just to let you know that legally you can only keep 2 bass per day. However I realise that you were fishing for almost 3 days and there's a chance the bass were caught in different 24 hour periods.

Anyway well done and sorry for ending on a little bit of a sour note.
All the best,
John D.

whats the problem mate??
you should concentrate on your own catch and release and leave your comments to yourself.
honestly im sick and tired of people of people like you commenting on peoples reports
no wonder alot of people dont bother reporting anymore.
like the chap says they caught 6 bass, kept 3....no harm. well done lads and lovely fish

I have no problem with people keepng a few fish. However this time of year, coming up to the spawning season/closed season, it would be nice if people put the larger Bass back as the odds are they are female.

True you could keep a smaller one and it could be a female but having read reports etc I am lead to believe that scientists believe it is only the female Bass the out grow their male counterparts.

Just something to consider.....

you havent broken the law, if it was no more than 2 fish per person in a 24 hour period

start getting nervous with any thread where "filling the freezer" and "bass" are mentioned in the same line though

hi barry we were three days fishing we caught six legal bass over the three days.I know all about the law ive no intention breaking it. we put three back because we were not greedy. they were cut up into cutlets which will be spread out over a couple of months. i caught over 40 bass last year and only kept six.
take care
happy fishing
