Report:had to paint the kitchen entirely to get the nod from the pentagon for a quick mission to "da beach". was worth the hassle , good surf again but heavier waves then last nite. weed was a pain in the neck, that fine stuff that clogs the top eye . first 4 casts resulted in weed slackliners. was fishing 2 rods normally only fish the one but after rockhunters crackin session last nite decided to double my chances but resorted back to one cause of the weed. noticed a big fish rolling in the waves and then my line dropped bingo got a good tussle off it . weighted 3 kilo on the nose and 61 cm. fridays dinner sorted. half an hour later an almighty pull and a fine fish of 4.45 kilos and 73 cm in length, had to take a photo of it beside the small one , then put the leathery bugger back where it belongs......not a bad wee session

Nice one Seanie the second fish wasn't far of specimen and fair play on you for putting her back, she was probably about 14yrs old and full of spawn, hopefully there will be plenty of her offspring swimming around in the future.

Cheers lads was a great session all the same. Beat my p.b by a 12oz , conditions are great for the week by the looks of it, going back for more Thursday or Friday

reckon so, they've been getting bigger and more plentiful since about halfway through march , gutted the bass I took home and there was 3 pipefish on the menu

Well done Seanie . I've noticed a few fish jumping in the surf the last day I was out , would you say they were bass or sea trout .
