Hi Eoghan,
Have a read of Bob Moss' books - very informative. You can drop into him in Ballydavid for tips and frozen sandeels, mack etc.
Cheers

Re: Dingle next weekend
Hi all,
New to the forum and pretty new to fishing again, wet a line last year for the first time since I was a kid back in the 70's so pretty much learning it all from scratch, Mossies books are an excellent guide for the area, caught my first ever bass doing exactly what he said and when to do it etc.
Anyway - I reckon you'll do all right around Dingle next weekend with the right conditions - I was out on Thursday evening, with a good inshore wind just spinning into the surf and got a 3lb bass - my first one this year!
I saw a couple of other lads spinning from the rocks across from me , each landed a good sized fish, bass or sea trout - couldn't tell from where I was, so the fish are deffo about.
have a good time whatever - there's always all the pubs if the fish don't bite

Re: Dingle next weekend
Cheers lads. Im afraid im a Bass nut and dont fish for any other fish to be honest.
Although if the weather is a cold as it could be I might have to resort to looking at other species, or the pub.
The moon pashes are cracking so it could be brilliant.
Im just praying for better weather. Dont mind rain and a bit of wind, cold will kill it down there.
Liam : Long time no speak or fish for that matter.
We're off again to Kerry 25th or so of May. There is a spot if you are up for it..?
