abu chrome rocket

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

abu chrome rocket

#1 Post by seanie35 »

looking on eBay at the abu chrome rocket, seems there is 3 types, the cs, the ct, and a custom built mix of the first two. Anyone know what the reason is for the custom build and which of the 3 types is the best option

Dont know about the custom build but cs would be level wind and ct is without level wind.I would go for the ct myself as it would be a lot easier to grip during casting

Hi Seanie,

I reckon the custom built has a mag unit in it as the original dosent have one, Id go for the original CT,

theres a guy churning these custom built ones on ebay not just one offs, got the feeling it was to make them cast better for some reason
