Now we've had the Lidl Annual Fishing Sale, does anyone know if there's an Aldi equivalent?

Both Aldi and Lidle are in rep of ireland but for some reason Aldi never ventured north of the border. Must be scared of loosing out on the sterling!

Eric,

Nothing wrong with the gear from Lidl & Aldi just cause you have the cash to flash with your blinged out chrome rockets etc etc etc. next you'll be wearing one around your neck during the leinster league just to show everyone how wealthy you are.

my god.

il wear an oversized clock thanks. i will say this i have used gear from lidl and can honestly say the stuff i used was crap. ive seen their rods snap and the reels implode on the pier and beach. im not actually rich or near it, i have a part time job, and i prefare to save up and spend the money on something that will last as opposed to a five minute wonder. just my 2 cents.

There's some great value in ALDI. Online too.

Of course, the vested interests in tackle shops don't like it. Too bad.
