bait digging

Hey Folks,this is my 1st message on the site , first of all its a great site and has helped me improve my fishing, can anyone tell me if there are any really good places to dig bait in south wexford, and what are the best times to do it.
Also on the beach near me there are alot of broken razorfish shells, what is the best way to collect these??? thanks for the help

if you know what the holes look like i heard that you need to pour salt down them, this must irritate them an they come to the top.
