Should be there from 10am Saturday.

I'll be the one that has no money to get back home because he bought too much stuff.

I popped out this morning for a gander. It was mostly for course fishing and fly fishing. I was not really impressed to be honest. Mind you I had a two year old with me running wild so that brought it's own stress!!

I got a few things i was looking for (bulk spool of f1) which was a lucky find as it was the last one and none of the other shops i asked in had any. got some hooks and a bulk spool of shock leader. id say all the decent stuff will be well gone by tomorrow.

I bought a few things :) Did a bit of haggling, but still spent a small fortune. Have enough rigs to last me for the rest of my life. Also bought a fish smoker, smoked mackeral on the beach after a days kayak fishing 8)

Fly casting demonstrations we're informative. Was there for a talk on wreck fishing, which was good. The same guy gave another talk on Boat rigs. There was also a talk on Salmon fishing, which I was particularly impressed with.

I was out at the show yesterday and I don't know what everyone else thought but it seemed like there were fewer stalls than previous years or maybe just a fewer shops. :? I still ended up picking up a few bits and pieces, I got an automatic life jacket for €35 and Daiwa Whisker carp rod / Shimano 5000 Gte baitrunner for €130. I must admit I was very tempted by a Shakespeare 15' K2 Team Extreme Titanium, I think it was around the €120 mark and looked a nice rod but I've bought too much gear in the last year so I had to pass on it for the moment at least. :(

Hi There. There is an Angling show in the Kings Hall Belfast next weekend 14 and 15th March.
I have been the last few years and there is a huge selection of Tackle and local knowledge at the show.
Its worth a trip from Donegal if you are a keen angler.
I have grabbed myself a few good bargains here.
