People:me
Duration:1030 - 1400
Tide: very high
Weather: dry and clear skies but cold in the shade
Bait: ammo sand eels
Rigs: pulley pennel then a 2 hook flapper
Results: Blank
Report: Did not fancy a long drive south so stayed local to confirm in my mind that there is not alot about! proved right - couple of small bites but nothing decent. Looks like I'll have to put a bit more effort into my next shore trip. On the plus side had a nice view of Ireland's eye and the tralwers heading out to sea. On the way home picked up 2 nice fillets of cod in Nickeys fish shop and some kippers for E 15.50. good days fishing!!

Re: Howth, Balscaden
Nice photos Choco. Its a pity that such a lovely spot is void of any fish. Now if you want empty beer cans and empty feathers packets your on a winner! I had contemplated trying it again mind you since the blanks I had there last summer. I think my "fishing" has come on a bit since then. But on the back of a blank last Sunday I might go netting in the Bray Aquarium first!
