Dun Laoghaire 4/2/09

#1 Post by cormology »

People: Me

Duration: 8pm-10pm

Tide:High about 6pm

Weather: sea choppy enough, slight breeze.

Bait: lug

Rigs: pulley pennell

Results: 1 flounder 32cm, whiting 25cm

Report:
Decided to head down to a spot in dunlaoghaire to use up a bit of bait i had from the weekend. First cast i had a nice flounder 32cm swallowed my 4/0 pennel with a load of lug on. Had a decent few bites after that and managed to pick up a whiting. Last cast had a great bite rattled the rod but didn't hook up. Again and nice handy session with plenty of bites.
Alot of weed floating in the water but well fishable.
