Century Repairs

#1 Post by SHANE R »

Hi Lads
I damaged my Century BB on Saturday. An accident with a peir wall broke the lining in the 3rd guide down from the tip ring. The guide itself looks fine it is not out of shape or anything. Is there anyone in Ireland that repairs them or am I best to contact Century direct.

Cheers
Shane

Sounds to me like you only need a ring replaced and a lot of decent tackle shops should be able to do that for you Shane.

i broke 3 rings (inner) on my century rod, gave it to a guy here in cork to repair.
Expensive.
I later broke two more, contacted century and got a full set sent over, repaired it myself, that was 3 years ago (at least??)
Did not look as good as the pro, but did the job fine .....
I now know i can repair further damaged brings myself....

Cheers for the replies lads. I might contact Century and get some linings sent over. Ther is no-one around Sligo that I know who repairs rods so I might try and repair it myself.
