good man barto.

did you fish the rocks or the beach :?:

30 + are good whiting. seems to be a surge in bigger whiting around had simular results in wicklow couple of nights ago.

i think all the fish are about 2 months behind themselves

Well done barto,

interesting what john 1 said about the fish being 2 mths behind themselves, could be some truth in it, not sure myself just an observation from the site reports, but it seems the bass are staying longer each year, possibly because the water temp is a bit warmer, maybe that means the cod and coalies etc are staying out because the temp is a bit too warm, as the water temps drop in feb, mar we may see more cod coalies moving into our waters.

or esle the trawlers have just hoovered them all up.

we would have fished the rocks but there were a few lads there,so we fished the beach about 100mts up from the rocks.
