BEST SMOCK YOU'VE WORN?
Ok I'm in the market (again) Had the original Titan excellent, don't like the new Titantex, Anyfish Anywhere gets slated in reviews, Have the Mustad smock grand but not warm enough, have the Greys too, good and tough but again not like the Titan which had enough quilted lining to keep you warm too!
So after seeing all the Imax ones Saturday on the beach they must be good? Thoughts from those who have or had them please?
Are they 100% waterproof?
Are they comfy?
Are they warm and keep the wind out with a fleece etc underneath?
Cheers.

Had a Salt Smock for last 2 years, still going strong. For the money, well worth it.

Re: BEST SMOCK YOU'VE WORN?
Had the original titan one for years - very warm and waterproof until I washed it removing the waterproofing (didn't find out that until one stormy night
). Have a two-piece flotation suit now- have never looked back

Now to throw a pigeon among the cats
I have a jacket that I bought in the states, it folds small enough to fit in the back pocket of your jeans, is as light as a feather, 100% leak proof, made from Nylon Ripstop fabric, has a large zipped kangaroo pocket at the front with leak proof side pockets, a zip up to the neck (great for venting your neck on a hot rainy day) and velcro tab cuff....and the cost $19.95 full retail ( I never had the guts to ask for discount)
Made in Veitnam for an American company called "Against the Elements" Ref: 21506 Boat
I got the over leggings too.....2 side pockets, 1 rear pocket with zip, elasticated waist, with a velcro fly and velcro vent (split) up the outside leg, they fold very small like the jacket....price $19.95
My thinking on waterproofs is....the above will fold away and can be carried always.....its what you wear underneath that keeps you warm in the winter and what you take off as you overheat that can save you boiling up....a padded lined waterproof jacket has only one option!
Keith.....the piece de reistonce for you.....they come in pink too
which is the new black by the way
Tom.

Keith,
I couldnt find the exact jacket I have, but this link shows one almost the same, this one shows the jacket that the hood can stow into the collar....mine is the bog standard on where the hood just hangs down the back.

Not ordinary pink....mmmm pastel pink

Seriously, I have never had a better storm jacket and I wish the fcuk I could find the factory that makes them in Veitnam
