low budget rod stand

would any one have any info on a cheap rod stand for a 13ft rod any info would help thanks

lidi sale them in about a months time there ok but they won t take abuse like the ian gold ones

the lidl ones are pure rubbish - the salt rots the glue in them

WIOS IN Waterford very good rod stand 35 euro can also be got at Kilkenny Sunday market and some where in Cork (market)

as a kid in the '80s my local welder made them from scrap angle-iron!
i wish i knew where mine is buried in my parents shed, even though i
have a tripod! only good in sand though. if you get one made make
sure you have a small bedding step to drive it into the sand.
downside, it will be heavy and only hold one rod.
species 2009, whiting :(, three beard rockling,.shore rockling, 5 beard rockling, flounder, lesser spotted dogfish,bullhuss, dab,bass(13), more whiting : pollock,poorcod,pouting, sea trout(the dodder!)brown trout,sea scorpion,mackerel, silver eel,
topknot:), cod, conger, corkwing wrasse,smooth hound.
