Fitting a transducer to an Orkney Fastliner?

#1 Post by MackDublin »

Lads,

We are having this done this evening. Are there any do's and don'ts in regard to the positioning of the transducer on the transom? I've heard that if its to close to the propeller you can have problems with the picture?

All immediate help is greatly appreciated.

hi colm, keep the tranducer at least 12" away from prop, this should help reduce surface clutter.
