weather- cold, calm and cloudy, slight drizzle and sleet showers
baits- lug, white rag, mussel, wilk and limpet
rigs- float and 1 up 1 down all size 6 and 4 hooks
results- 19cm rockling, 3 pollack up to 15cm, 17cm coalie and 5 whiting up to 6cm
report- headed down about about 5.30. it was very quite for the half an hour but then managed the first which was a little pollack on the float, this was on white rag. i then started to get some more fish and i missed a few too which happens everywhere . i missed a better bite 7 oclock possibly a decent codling but i think i had too small of hooks. best baits were white rag and mussel.
heaviest fish was a coalie, good little scrapper on the float gear.
still a good session as usual and another couple of species for 09.

i dont try catching them although up this area in the past few sessions i have had around millisle and a couple of other marks there have been loads around that size, just dont seem to be able to get away from them, no matter wat hook size even got one oneday on a a size 2/0 well it was a bit bigger.
same 'ere annoys me when those tiddlers dont leave my bait alone, hard not catch them and catch the others, at the moment it is either catch those tiny whiting or nothing
no skate or bass then c'mn dan we're rooting for you

best advice for catching species is girls dont like fishing and its hard to catch fish when you sell all your gear'
