Re: maddies
hi samo, i personally use a tray lined wet kitchen roll, soaked in sea water, just enough to keep em damp and cover em with another wet layer. sea peat is another option. most important thing is to stop them from drying out and removal of dead ones.

Re: maddies
Some lads use damp (not wet!!) newspaper with em spread out on it on a tray. Some put damp seaweed in and then cover with damp paper or kitchen towel. Keep em cool - not frozen, and not boiled!!!!!!

Re: maddies
keep them in the mud you dig them in lets say 200 at a time on top of some seawater damp newspaper. make sure they have a bit of room. pile them in the middle. they will move out of the mud themselves while the mud keeps the paper damp. top up with a bit of water if needs be. make sure they cant get out! managed to keep em for 3 1/2 weeks this way in the shed in winter with no fridge. they got used before they died. you can keep rag the same way just in less numbers as they tend to be bigger...
