I've had good experiences quite recently with both http://www.spottydogtackle.com and http://www.tackleshop.co.uk. Both seem to have the 7HT. Both have very fast and helpful service. Spotty Dog also sell through eBay if you like buying that way. Probably doesn't make much difference though.

Sur no wonder the economy is fcuked altogether..

Can buy a brand new abu hi-speed in UK for £97.

I purposely rang a few dealers during the week and

Ranged from E165 to E190.

Keep it local???? Hmmmmm

Rant over. ( I may go back on the fags)

I have to say I am very happy with Veals.

On one occassion they sent me the fixed spool version of a rod when I had ordered the multiplier version. The promptly admitted the mistake, shipped me the multiplier version immediately, refunded the shipping charge and sent a courier around to pick up the fixed spool version to bring it back to Bristol.

Couple of days a later a box full of goodies arrived for my trouble - load of fancy varivas line, leaders, hooks, etc., etc.

Can't really argue with that kinda service...

Be aware before anyone slaggs Irish retailers off against the UK.

1/ Vat is only 15% in the UK
2/ Most stuff comes from the UK, carriage cost.
3/ Most of the shops here who have Abu stock would have bought before the Euro got to near the £
3/ Volume....shops sell more in the UK because there are more anglers.

BTW.....ABU dont discount Ambassaduer reels to anyone, all shops pay the same trade price.
