Duration:8.30 to 11.30pm


Tide:rise


Weather:it got better


Bait:fresh crab


Rigs:pully pennel 3/0


Results:myself 1 flounder,1 codling,lar 1 flounder





Report:was looking through google earth and had found a few new marks to try
for codling.so set up the satnav and headed off
with the weather so bad was happy enough just to find the marks
when ariveing to the mark the wind had eased,so started to fish
first cast on both our rod produced a flounder each.
so off to the next mark i was happy that it was holding fish
located another mark but no fish .
for the last spot we headed down to arthurstown
first cast blank,second cast a small codling ,
onthe last cast looked up and slack line but had lost the fish
very happy with evening the looked unfishable during the day

well done lads, thems some odd coloured flounder :? it's amazing how differently they colour up depending on where they have been caught around the country.also the top one is a left handed flounder where as the bottom one is a normal right handed flounder. lefties only occur in a quarter of the hatch. so well done on the lefty :wink:
