People: Tom and Me

Duration: 20.00 to 02.30

Tide: High Tide @ around 23.30

Weather: Not too bad: two showers, some wind, some clear skies and some nice moon light at the end

Bait: Lug

Rigs: 3 hook flapper

Results: 30+ whiting, 6 mini bass and 1 codling

Report:

After the blank from the day before I had to go fishing again and catch some fish and use the 50+ lug leftover.

Tom arrived at the mark before me and when I arrived he already had a couple of small withing and one small bass.
My first cast produced three whiting (full-house), not a bad start. :D
Second cast two more whiting, I was already happy with that result
The weather was nice, clear sky and just a light wind with a nice roll on the sea.

It was just before 21.00 and Tom ran to the tackle shop to get more lug as he only had one pack left. He bought three more packs.

I started getting some decent size whiting (25cm up) while Tom had managed to catch another couple of mini bass.
At one stage it started raining and the wind picked up, fortunately it lasted only five minutes or so.

Tom was messing around with some rigs when I noticed a nice bite on his rod, he managed to pool in a mini bass and a 36 cm codling at the same time, not bad at all!

The whiting were still biting, Tom didn't catch many and I caught all the big ones but no codling for me this time.

At around 01.00 Tom was ready to leave, I told him to stay for another cast or two as I had six lug left.
The moon come out from behind the clouds, the wind was gone and the sky cleared up in a couple of minutes :D It was so nice!!!!
Tom opened a new pack of lug, these guys were much bigger than the ones before... guest what, we stayed for another 1.5 hr

At 02.30 we called it a day, I really enjoyed this session as the weather was quite good, nice moon at the end of the session and some decent fish.
