Duration:4.30/6pm.

Tide:hw.@7ish

Weather:mild light S. wind

Bait:l;ugs

Rigs:2 up pats.

Results:1 coddling :)

Report: have not been out since before xmas. had a look and decied to have a few casts, only had 1 rod out and did not notice any bite, did notice that the line had gone slack and downtide, had to be a bass!!!, skulled him in and was a bit supprised (dissapointed) to see a nice kelp cod of 3/4lb...first cast of 2009 8) stayed for another hour before going home for a few spuds and fresh cod 8)

Either thats a very small bucket, or that cod's much bigger than 3/4 of a lb :wink:

species 2009, whiting :(, three beard rockling,.shore rockling, 5 beard rockling, flounder, lesser spotted dogfish,bullhuss, dab,bass(13), more whiting : pollock,poorcod,pouting, sea trout(the dodder!)brown trout,sea scorpion,mackerel, silver eel,

theyll be bass in tis eves. report :) dont realy target anything other that bass, everything else would be just bycatch.

weird thing happened yesterday went fishing and blanked :) , strange feelin :shock: kinda of an emptyness, dont know wath to do, dident sleep well at all last nite, woke early in a cold sweat.....................figured out it best to use hooks, bent nails ant any good. :)

Hi Art,
sorry to hear you blanked,but at least now i know im not the only one whose blanking at the moment welcome to the club.I'd doubt you will be in it for long though :wink: ,roll on the next trip,i have a feeling a few bass are on the way to you after the rough weather or shudder to think a few codling.
