People myself

tide high at 3.30

time 1 till 5.45am

bait mack sand eel,whiting

result 1 poor cod and a boot full of crab

weather windy as a mother sea was rough

headed down to spiddal pier straight after work to break in the rod i bought for herself today and to try out my floatation suite (for comfort and casting didn't get it wet ) on first cast with herselfs rod caught a poor cod on mack with lumi bead for added color , thought my luck was in after that lost about 6 leads   and every hook came in clean or else with a crab on it  ,was nice and snug in my floatation suit :D :D

at least you got out and caught something - ever try the beach behind it - is all that building rubble still there?

Fair play for getting out in the rough weather.I fished there in the summer and had good craic catching conger just down the peir wall.Caught a couple and lost big one at the surface.Dont know if youd get them there in the winter.
