I think it is pretty clear it is not Bray Head :) . Just to be clear here, people aren't under an obligation to name a specific venue, but I'd prefer if people didn't post directly misleading venue locations, even if it is just the dimmest of us that might take it at face value. I think John1 has a valid enough point , Kieran and I certainly wouldn't feel too good about ourselves if someone had an accident looking for this cod mark around Bray Head.

How can you say that JD? I think it's clear beyond any reasonable doubt, that the head & cross are visible over DB's right shoulder in one of the pics.

Seriously though we haven't given anyone a bumsteer to go up Brayhead (In saying that I did direct a former member of the site who had ruffled a few feathers to "the mark". I gave GPS co-ordinates the works, he must have got some shock when he drove into the carpark at Little Killary  ), I've actually told a couple of lads planning to go not to bother. Gerry & Mick in Viking have also told a few lads coming in to get bait to go somewhere else.

I'm writing this report courtesy of Beaumont Hopsital broadband, I only broke both my legs in the fall, I'm suffering from mild hypothermia, but fortunately my both my arms are ok......

I spent 1/2 of yesterday searching for this brayhead cod mark, knew I'd found it when I stumbled upon the remnants of eric's camp fire (thank god he cant get a 4x4 up there those tyre marks could have been the death of me) and all the usual rubbish that eric leaves behind, discarded bait cartons, crisp packets and the like.......then I slipped on all the cod guts these irresponsible anglers have left lying about the place recently  and fell 60 feet bouncing off several rocks on my descent.

Big thanks to a local crab potting boat who had witnessed my accident and enacted a rescue worthy of a medal :D
