recession session number 3

#1 Post by eric »

People:dennis, alby, myself, boycie, and wayne riley

Duration:4 hours

Tide:last to of the rise, first 2 of the drop

Weather:calm as hell

Bait:crab and lug

Rigs:one hook clip downs

Results:many codling, flounder and whiting, only one decent one to dennis though at 9lbs it was a proper stonker!!

Report:i blanked and everyone else caught codling apart from wayne who managed the flounder and whiting, but did get himself a few in the boyne today, nice one mate

T'was a good session, I would say a few codling not loads!

Fair play to Dennis on getting the pig, and who says cod don't fight, this thing went ballistic :) Lug was equally as effective as Crab for the codling, and that hike up the head is not getting any easier!!!

bray head forever 8) just a talley of the fish off it in 3 sessions, a 9lb'er a 7lb'er, a couple of 3lb'ers and numerous fish around the lb. word of warning the mark we fish is pretty dangerous so if you are thinking of fishing it take care around the rocks lads,
