sutton to skerries

#1 Post by kiwijbob »

Anyone taking anything from any of the north county
beaches/rocks between sutton & skerries, only have a
couple of tiddlers myself from these spots and nothing
recently. Don't want to hit howth again on the weekend
and it doesn't suit to trek south or too far north? Any
other spots north of howth where mackerel can & have
been taken? would really appreciate any help and please
PM me if you prefer?? :D

Hi Bob,
I went out to Balscadden high rocks after sailing on wednesday at about 10 o clock. It was getting dark but I used the flasher feathers with beads on - just shone the torch on the beads for a couple of minutes. Got 2 nice macks in about 30 mins which were lovely. Its grand going out late as most of the riff raff has cleared off by then.

Hi Murch,
Sorry for the delay on responding - I was away!!
There was only one other guy up high and about 6 on the low rocks.
