Morning folks, hope Christmas is going well!
I'm being dragged sullenly to Dingle for the New Years. I have managed to fanagle some fishing leave for one of the days down there.
Am I wasting my time at this time of year? Any advice on marks, tactics, bait supplies or decent pubs would be massively appreciated!

“........if people from Leinster support Munster, it’s actually good as it has separated those who really want to support us from the fickle ones, which means the base is being built on a solid core of support. If it’s based on fly-by supporters, that’s not a good foundation – as they say, rats will always jump first from a sinking ship.” Denis Hickie, Disco Legend

Re: Dingle in January
i cant comment on the fishing in dingle but you wont find a better spot to spend new years eve. might craic to be had in any of the pubs you end up in. the club is strange to say the least but well worth a visit. they usually do a good fireworks display too out in the harbour. most pubs will start empting around 1155 and everyone heads to the pier. must say, for a small village you wont believe the amount of fireworks they have. better than anything ive seen in cork anyway.
enjoy, im raging i wont be there this year as im workin
