Now the ban is lifted, Can anyone out there give me any tips on how to contact my first Bass. Nearest mark to me would be the two beaches at Garretstown. Has anyone out there fished these with any success for bass? I have taken LSDs and flounder from this mark but being a total Bass novice would welcome any advice on rigs/tactics for Bass.

Thanks

Pete.
Fluff chucking is the new black..... Rampant Wreckfish is a fly angler in denial :D

pete,
I can only be very general but if you want to specifically target bass i feel you should go down the plugging route. Had the same problem on the east coast when i moved to Dublin some years back, but plugs immediately brought success... if you are serious you might want to consider an angling guide...others might have contrary views but it could be worth it.

Am going to Shanagarry for a week on Sat so i should have some info after that.
