had plenty of specimens in 08 but i dont bother with that sort of thing.

i think they were all coarse species.
4 roach biggest
2 lbs 15oz
2lbs 8oz

roach/ bream hybrid

4lbs 3oz

dunno wat the record for doggies are had one about 2.75-3lbs

nice one on the coarse specimens dan ,speci doggie is 3lb 4oz btw . Out of interest how do you tell the difference between the hybrids ? you'll have to get a camera for this year ,surely your phone has one ,so you can enter the species hunt comp .

roach bream hybrids are not as dark in colour as the rudd bream and are not as high in the back, sometimes the rudd bream hybrids have a slightly more upturned bottom lip than the roach bream hybrids.

i almost had a specimen doggie, believe it or not it was my first ever dogfish

phone has a camera, also got a didital camera, ready for this year.
