entirely depends on the venue and species.

around my local mark i use both blows and blacks the blacks work best, at another mark about 10 miles away the blows work best, i've never used yellowtail, i dont think i have have nyway.

does ny1 dig lug or rag around north down, at millisle i get some black lug, blows and white rag.

Thats like askin are fresh, day old, two day old, 3 day old ....... the best? Go on you know you want to ask that question next.

IMO whatever is gettin you the fish at a particular venue is best. For bass I find lug are workin best for me at the moment.

something tells me their just normal blow lug dan, most blow lug have yellow tails, yellow tails OR blacks (same worm) are very difficult to source in Ireland, you can obtain large blow lug at certain spots where i live which we call 'blacks', although they are big worms, 20cm+, often black in colour, they live in a u-shaped burrow and are not real blacks.
