Anybody fished ballintoy

hi guys havent been on the site for a while(tecninical problems lol) but I have been doing quite a lot of fishing, will be adding some reports in the near future. I however have not fished ballintoy this year, and havent saw any recent reports and would like someones help and advice of how to fish it in the winter. I fished it last year around june/august where i caught some plaice and my mate lost a good sea trout. If anyone can advise it would be gratefully appreiciated. cheers

But it's not gonna be pleasant. I value my neck a lot more than three thousand bucks, chief. I'll find him for three, but I'll catch him, and kill him, for ten. But you've gotta make up your minds. If you want to stay alive, then ante up. If you want to play it cheap, be on welfare the whole winter. I don't want no volunteers, I don't want no mates, there's just too many captains on this island. Ten thousand dollars for me by myself. For that you get the head, the tail, the whole damn thing.

plenty of people fish it. i havn't fished it yet.

haven't fished it lately ,mainly due to issues with the local land owner restricting access (he owns the land to the beach and is fighting the EHS over certain issues ) with a gate across the entrance down . maybe best to wait until everything is cleared up so as not to cause bad feeling .
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.

when my uncle and i went up that way in june we realise that, we went on to cushendun then.

I was there over the summer for the Whole night, didnt have any issues with the 'Gate' as it was open and no one there lol, but even from the peir fish can be had, best time to go from what i have been told is after a storm.

last time we Fished it was 4 or 5 weeks ago we always jump over the gate and think nothing of it didnt know there was issues theres nobody about at night :roll: :roll: :roll:

I dont have any problem of having a saunter over the gate lol
