Tide: was rising to full as i was heading

Weather:fine light west winds
Bait: frozen peeler fresh mackeral

Rigs: 1 hook pulley and 2 hooked clipped
Results: 8 doggies and 3 dabs

Still cant get a decent smoothie but was a pleasant evening. Apparently there was a comp previous night. Does anyone know if there was much taken?

The fishing was very poor, with mainly dogs and dab there were some small pup hounds, one decent hound 4lbs and a tope of 22lbs caught.

Delighted to hear of a tope off Clones.

Where on the beach was the tope taken. What was the tide state and what was used for bait?
