Any ideas on a home made sharpner for hooks

The tackle shops here do them for about a euro or so. Well worth buying. I use the back of mine to keep the knife sharp as well.

I use a Dart tip sharpener for the hooks, very handy.

The hook sharpener I got had that V cut into to it as well.

F**k your hook sharpeners in the bin and just replace the hooks as they lose their point..

The normal aberdeen and viking hooks are one use only but what about the 6/0 meat hooks for conger. These are meant to be reused and sharpened.

I met a guy from Waterford who is a dab hand at sharpening his hooks Ray was his name his catch rate was a lot better he had some way of sharpening them but I never got the chance of to see how he did it.
