People:me

Duration:4 to 7

Tide:6ish

Weather:pleasant but very cold after dark, big surf

Bait:razor and lug

Rigs:2/o pulley rigs

Results:3 bass,2 coalies,2 flounder and 2 codling

Report:Decided to let deise land redeem itself,so gave it a lash.Big surf running ,deja vu   ,loads of weed around in patches and lost my 1st 2 traces at distance,so moved along to another section and it was weed free   .
Nothing until it got dark but managed to sneak a few bass all around 3lb and some small flounder upto hw.At this stage i was fishing from the cliffs as the tide pushed me off the beach.Once the tide started to ebb got a few strange knocks, could it be  codling, not huge 2lb ish,but at least i now remember what they look like, incidently i got a second next cast same size and both fish very brown in colour and stuffed looking, nothing on the cod front after that apart from 2 tiny coalies after the tide was racing away from me.
Happy bunny again :) :) in comparison to yesterdays washout

Yip the waders were still soaked, but at least i had a few dry fleeces and cozy smock,if it had rained though :!: :!: .Shoreking in reply to the cod beach   .Nice enough session allround and i will be back, now that i've a better understanding on whats on offer there, thanks to some very helpful info, you know who you are so thanks.Normally would only fish that part of the coast a few times a year but guess where i'll be going over the xmas hols for a few sessions.

Well done Mike, good session there.
You did better than me - on Saturday night I hit the East Cork beach where I have had a couple of good sessions recently - there was a good surf, a bit of weed but not too troublesome, but not a single bite, not even a nibble

Hi rockhunter,
hard lines with sat,big tide down there i'd say.Hopefully the reason for poor fishing is'nt what i was talking to you about last week.I have'nt heard anything regarding that subject from the powers that be,hopefully it will be ok :? :?
